Rochelle Bailey had been born into a technological world devoid of magic. She had never imagined anything different for herself, only pushed forward, slogging through tragedy after tragedy, waiting for her misery to end. Then she woke up, naked and confused, in an alternate world so full of magic she could practically taste it. Except she still had none. Until the day she met him. Aric Vardanyan, the Sentry of Yafae... the very grown-up version of an anime protagonist she'd once watched on TV. Aric volunteered to take Rochelle into his home and teach her how to control her magic. There was something about her that intrigued him and compelled him to take action in a way he wasn't used to. So he trained her, he made her strong, and he did his best to resist his rapidly rising attraction to her in the process. But the fragile balance of their relationship tipped forever when he received a secret assignment to investigate a rumor that could lead to war... and his true enemy took the opportunity to put their hands on Rochelle.

Discovered as a baby, Orchid has lived her entire life in the service of the royal family. She has risen to the controversial rank of Second Attendant for the Crown Prince--which is as high as a woman with no pedigree can expect to climb. Having grown up together, she is closer to the Prince than many consider appropriate, but Orchid is ever aware of the insurmountable distance between them. Though they were allowed a friendship in their childhood, the love she has developed for the Crown Prince of Seyraka must stay locked in her heart. Crown Prince Keion has struggled with his love for Orchid for as long as he can remember. His father has always maintained he must marry a woman of nobility, if not a neighboring princess. So he's kept what distance he could manage--a task made harder when Orchid became his personal attendant. Still, for her sake, he cannot cross the line propriety has put between them. Then Orchid is selected to become a vessel for the Great Spirits, in hopes to bring relief from the kingdom's long drought. It's a death sentence, and one Keion cannot abide. No matter the cost. But fleeing the palace is only a temporary solution, and a new problem arises when the spirits begin speaking to Orchid. They're no longer simply on the run, and somehow, Seyraka's fate hinges on Orchid and Keion's blossoming romance.

For nearly two hundred years, the Hansel and Gretel Academy has trained young adults to fight and protect the rest of humanity from the magical threats of the land. After a decade of partnership, the Hansel and Gretel team of Katz and Chessa are going strong. They've never met a monster they couldn't kill. When Chessa's twin brother, Declan, finally writes her back after numerous months of one-sided correspondence, it's with barely a note of acknowledgment. So Katz makes a surprise decision, bucking the tradition which insists upon keeping distance between different teams. He vows to Chessa they'll track her brother down, just so she can have a face-to-face conversation with him. As their journey begins, unbeknownst to them, they set off the first part of an ancient prophecy threatening the destruction of the very establishment that supports them... Before they can learn about that, they have to survive some dangerous situations unlike anything they've encountered before. And when one momentary lapse forces Katz to reveal a dark, intimate secret he's kept from Chessa for years... Chessa offers him an ultimatum. He can have her body, or he can pursue random strangers from whatever village they land in when he's in the mood. But he can't do both. It's a no-brainer for Katz, but will Chessa understand what their changing relationship really means? Or will her insecurities get the better of her, and ruin their burdgeoning romance?

She was human. He was not... Aurora's life took a turn for the exciting when she won a four-night trip to Castle Finnegan. A castle inhabited by a sexy stranger with smoldering bedroom eyes and a sinful touch. It was easy getting swept up in his arms, harder to accept that she had to let go. Daemyn didn't get attached. There was no point. But he couldn't keep Aurora out of his heart any easier than he could keep her from his bed. And that presented a problem, because if she ever found out he wasn't human she would run. Not that it mattered, because he was cursed to the castle for eternity... unless he could get Aurora to love him for what he was.

Ace Bufford's day just went from bad to worse... All he'd set out to do was a favor for a friend, and he'd somehow found himself barging into a random apartment with a gun in his hand. Ace had grown up in all the right ways, well, except for the gun thing. Without knowing how, Lydia suddenly found herself having to decide whether or not to embrace her unexpected attraction. And togtether they had to find a way to get Ace out of the mess he'd landed in, or their time together would end as abruptly as it had before.
