Writing has always been "it" for me. I loved to read, daydream, and share my wild imaginations with my friends. For me, that progressed fairly naturally into writing those ideas down and aspiring to do so professionally.

I was writing fan fiction before I had any idea there was even a word for that, and when I discovered there were websites devoted to it? I lost myself online for a very long time. But it was a while before I was brave enough to post my own... though of course I eventually did. (And most of those are still available, too!) I used the years that followed to hone not only my writing, but my ability to handle feedback. I am, however, glad to report most of that feedback was positive!

I graduated college in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Minor in Creative Writing, and after all my years of practicing with fan fiction, it was time to work toward publishing. I submitted my very first short story to a publisher's anthology call, and it ended up being accepted for release in 2012 as a standalone novella called Campfire Romance. Immediately after that, I started writing the first version of my Elemental series, which was accepted and published all with the same - now defunct - publisher.

While I was publishing my Elemental series, I began working on a new series and shopping around for a new publisher to submit it to. That new series became my Night Shadows series, which began with Caught in Darkness in 2014, and marked the beginning of my journey with Evernight Publishing. So, when my first publisher reverted the rights of my works to me and pulled them from shelves, I turned to Evernight to see about getting the Elemental series - which had barely been completed - back on the market. Evernight agreed, on the condition that I revise the series and retitle the books.

In late 2018, I suffered an injury that quite literally knocked me off my feet. As a result of this injury I became unable to work and my physical health has suffered, landing me on Disability. The silver lining of this is that when my depression isn't overwhelming me, I have lots of time for writing! As a result, not only did I re-complete the Elemental series, but my Night Shadows series has also completed as of 2022.

In 2024 I embarked on a whole new obsession: mafia romance. This resulted in the launching and completion of the De Salvo Family series within a single year! A personal first for me. Except completing the De Salvo family's story did not sate my mafia muse, so I have made plans to expand their world with a spin-off series to debut in 2025: De Salvo Empire.

By the conclusion of 2024, in addition to my now three completed series, I officially have three ongoing series as well! My Dark Light series, begun in 2016, has only 1 book remaining and I am hoping to complete it in 2025. The Thanatos Coven series is my first co-write experience, and we're aiming to release one title per year for a total of five. My newest series is the Apocalyptic Love series, book one of a planned quartet which also acts as an opener for the wildest idea I've had to date - writing multiple series and standalone titles that share one fantastical world base! That is the concept of my Meddlesome Moirai world, and I am thrilled to share it with my readers.

Of course, I have several standalone titles available, too!

I've also won awards! To date, I have won three Reader's Choice Awards for Best Of in the categories of Paranormal and Fantasy romance, in the years of 2016, 2017, and 2019.

After all this time, I still love writing, and reading, romance. The hotter the better! My writing tends to reflect my reading tastes, so you can generally tell my mood by the content I'm churning out. I write romance with heart, passion, and stories that will grip you until the last page. Because if the characters don't have to fight for their happy ending, they just won't appreciate it properly. But I promise, there is always a happy ending.
